zenyatta is great but we have to look at what she has faced. she has never seen anything close to einstein before. zenyatta deserves to be in the race and should get a piece of the money. I respect her connections a lot more than that siisy jess jackson. Rachel is actually bred to like the poly because medaglia d oro is a top POLY sire. I agree with you---no chance whatsoever. But, considering the sentimental money she will attract, this will shape up to be a great betting race, chock full of overlays.

I think it's more that they wanted her to match Personal Ensign's record of 13 straight wins first, and now that she's accomplished that, they're willing to take a chance on a big race that would boost her legacy faaaar more if she won it than the Ladies Classic would. And she would look better losing the Classic against some of the best males in the country/world than she would losing against the females.

I think she has a chance and deserves the opportunity to prove herself against males.
