I gotta admit I missed the start of the Eddie Read by about 40 seconds. I was in my computer room
Yesterday it was black, white polka dots, white bars (I think there's some more description in there, but it got cut off, you'd need a paragraph) . The description could have been, "what's red and white and black all over" I believe the reason is that he ran in the silks of "STD racing stable or Wood", and not just soley STD racing stable? This is a total guess, and I'm looking for news about this. What's sad is that when it comes to horse racing silks, one of the most colorful parts of racing, the info is few and far between. For a great blog about all things uniform you should check out the uni-watch blog. You can kill a good 2 hours over there. And like an idiot I missed this post specifically about silks. I told you I don't read anything about horse racing during the triple crown, I just kind of get overwhelmed and give up. However, I will point out that I believe that the owners while registering their silks don't own the pattern. You can register the same silks at different tracks, but you could also have two owners at different tracks, you also can't copyright a black shirt (Phipps), so I'm pretty sure I'm ok here. |

Officially I think this is black, purple diamonds. However, after not seeing Lava Man in the Eddie Read I realized I was looking for the wrong thing. I should have been looking for this motley mess. When creating silks is there an "all button" or something?

What happened to C-Nak? Did he not like the new silks?

My God, they're uglier than Allen Paulson's silks.
