Link Depository Equidaily (if he wants a link he could link to me once in a while, and maybe not refer to us as Blogger) comments in a link to an Asbury Park Press article, "Traditional Eclipse stepping-stone? Who knew?" when linking to an article about the Haskell.
Well, I did. That's who. This is your basic talking-down-to-any-other-track-that-isn't-in-the-NYRA-east-coast-bias, and it's crap. I'm sure you're real proud of your Gr I's this weekend and 50 years from now they'll be talking about Kelso, Tom Fool, and Rising Moon in the same sentence. (Give me a second I just puked a little in my mouth).
The Haskell has had Curlin, War Emblem, Point Given, Skip Away, Serena's Song, and Holy Bull in the last 13 years who have taken some pretty nice hard ware home at the end of the year. It's also had some pretty good sires in the race as well: Dixie Union, More than Ready, Forestry, Victory Gallop, Tale of the Cat, and Concern. |
