Bloggers are Horse Racing’s Russerts
Vic no offense, but serioulsy I'm a blogger, I know bloggers, and sir you are not a blogger. You admit this in your own bio
"Vic is a regular contributor to MSNBC.com, a columnist for the Illinois Racing News and has written on racing for ESPN.com, National Public radio and The Age, Australia's leading daily."
So, basically this little horseracinginsider.com thing you have going for you is a place where you are just doing overtime with no pay; keeping your profile high enough so those aforementioned media outlets still think you're relative. Newsflash you NEED an editor. Shit, man, have you ever deleted one sentence you've ever written. (you needed 4 paragraphs talking about Russert, really?) So, you fail at rule #1 of being a blogger
And, as pointed out so many times w/ you media-types who try and call out the media or the establishment and try and act like you're different, WHERE IS YOUR IDEA? You want to be a maverick, well then get on board w/ the TBA we're all about change, and we have a plan (well at least I do, but I'm willing to share). |

Did I miss a vote? A mission change? Patrick, that's your plan -- not the TBA plan.
As for Zast, I thought his characterization of himself as a "blogger" pretty funny too -- he's a classic columnist writing classic columns, which just happen to be online. Doesn't diminish what I get from reading him, but it doesn't make what he does a blog.
Wait, just saw the last line in the plan post ... yes, bloggers pushing standings is the plan ...
